Where to get custom code?
« on: 21 October 2008, 18:47:37 »
Does anyone know of a site where I can find custom codes for PAL ARMax?

That's a good question, but one I don't really have an answer to.  (Anyone else want to chime in?)

You could try Google.  Especially if there are specific games you want extra codes for.

Thanks for the response.  I was hoping for a site which lists codes for multiple games.  Any time I try google, I never seem to find PAL codes, only NTSC stuff.

With the help of MAXconvert (and a knowledge of hex) you can sometimes convert NTSC codes to PAL codes.  You just need a few reference codes in both PAL and NTSC that do the same thing (preferably with an address close to the one you're trying to convert).

Also, http://www.google.co.nz/search?q=pal+"action+replay+max"+codes comes up with quite a few hits.  Not sure how helpful they are, though :)

Tried Google with Action Replay Max instead of ARMax, and I just get a couple of people asking for codes and a bunch of torrents.  I'll check out the program you mentioned.

Like Miral previously said, you can find more if you are game specific. Look for an extremely active forum for a game, and normally you can find codes there.
Example: the forum at kh-vids.net has TONS of custom codes for Kingdom Hearts I and II. (And hopefully RE:CoM when it comes out!!!!)
